    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

We are ready to order the flying wires and, not too surprisingly, the plans are mum on this. The location and number of wires is in the plans, but the size of the wires aren't. We are planning to order streamlined SS wires with 5/16 threaded fittings with the rationale that this is the size used on the Pitts S2. What is the correct size? What are others using on their AcroDusters? Is there any engineering to support the size selection? This seems pretty important to us.
