They say it ain't over till it's over. Maybe?

I renewed my insurance on the Spezio with new carrier thru Falcon. The new company wanted my pilot profile and I didn't have a clue. I keep a daily log of all my building work on both airplane along with flying time. I only update my pilot log book when it's time to fly with an instructor. I just finished my log update.....

Anyway I found exactly when the vibration started. It was the very next flight after I had removed and painted the lower stab. struts.

I had reviewed my daily log earlier to see when it started but somehow missed that entry. May be nothing, it was simple to remove/replace. I didn't change the struts, just loosened the top wires a turn and then took them back. But you bet I'm going to take a very careful look. I was doing a bunch of other stuff. the 2-place canopy, outfitting front pit, swapping windshields. I admit being focused on the engine which was smart but maybe I was too focused on it and missed something else?

It would be nice to make a small adjustment on something and the vibration goes away. But I'll hate myself when I think of the $1k plus for engine mounts, dropping prop, etc......

If so, Oh well:eek:

Jack
