aileron stops

Does any one have an opinion on this? The stops I have seen put on Skybolts only stop the aileron in one direction but not in the other. In a tail slide should you not have a stop on each aileron in both directions. Other aircraft I have seen with aileron stops have them on each aileron in both directions.
