Need to swage on some turnbuckle and clevis ends on to my Skyote elevator and rudder cables. The cables and parts came with my project, just need to swage them on. I've got 4 swaged ends to install. From what I can tell, a Kearney Portable Swaging machine is what is used for this. Buying one seems cost prohibitive.
KEARNEY M1-K PORTABLE SWAGER | Aircraft Spruce
Anybody know where I can rent one? Or anybody know where I can send what I've got to get swaged? It would be super nice if I found one fairly close to central, KY.
I know Aircraft Spruce makes the cable assemblies but I don't know how receptive that they'd be if I sent parts to them to swage. Might be worth it to just buy the complete assemblies from AS&S and be done with it.
