Hi all,
My name is Luke and I've purchased plans for a Starduster Too with the intention of getting started on it… someday. However, I was recently given a Starlet SA500 project; the airframe is for the most part structurally built minus covering. I saw reference in another thread on this forum to converting the Starlet into a V-star. So I bought the plans for a V-star and started comparing them to what I have. I also found hand written notations that somebody had made on the original Starlet plans that looked as though they intended to add a bottom wing. Although the structures look pretty similar, they aren't identical. So I'm wondering what potential pitfalls I could encounter if I press forward with this notion? It looks to me like a matter of adding the bottom wing attach points and reconfiguring the control stick mechanism (and of course, building the bottom wing and interplane struts). I have other questions, but I'll wait and ask them once I find the expert(s). Thanks in advance!
