    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

After looking over the SE-SAR area of 1800WX Brief and comparing $$, it looks like the Spot Gen3 might be another bit of tech that can be added for GPS tracking reports coordinated with Lockheed Martin flight service.

Small, portable & at $ 150.00 [+ another $ 150.00 for a bundle of service features annually...], looks like it would be an easy addition to an already crowded panel.

Lots of You Tube videos on this thing too and I just read somewhere that Garmin acquired this company a few days ago. [ probably there will be a device like this with Garmin's name on it soon].

Any user reviews from anyone ??
