The lower left wing leading edge formed and drying for three days before installation. It really isn't that difficult to form these around the nose ribs. I soak them in plain water for at least three days to soften them. Then I staple the skin along one edge of the spar, then along each rib from spar to tip, then wrapped the skin over the nose with bungee cords to hold in a loose bend. Then ratchet straps are used to begin pulling the skin down tight. I then staple from the nose towards the spar to make the skin tight against the ribs, and finally along the spar. The plywood fits nice and tight while drying, and has way less spring-back than the metal leading edges do.
