Hi,

I'm needing to start planning the location of the autopilot pitch servo on my ST-L build any would love some feedback

Considerations:
1. function
2. service access - want to avoid creating a special access panel for the servo. I can make the top of the seat removable
3. CG - ideally as forward as possible

ref. - the large holes in the seatback are 4" dia. The small holes are 2.5" dia.

On a typical "RV" installation, I have see the servo arm connect to the elevator bellcrank via a tie rod.

My inclination is to follow this method as it is simple, effective, and I can accurately place the tie rod connection relative to the pivot point to create a 1:1 drive ratio.

If I go in this direction, the next consideration is where to specifically place the servo and how long to make the tie rod.

Are there any other considerations or locations that I should be exploring?
