I am running a 40296 mechanical pump without any electric backup on my S1D,AEIO-320 ( injected) although I do have a manual double action pump that looks like a Buzz pump ( which the ad says will operate the engine ). I wondered if this was common, or if everyone has an electric backup? If so, what pump? The only one I can find that comes close to the required 20psi is a Weldon, which is not cheap! The highest press Facet i can find is 8psi, which is just adequate according to my engine specs.
