Hi all,
Getting ready to bend plate parts for wing components and was wondering what the different strategies are for bending thicker steel plate. You can buy small bending brakes but they're generally for thinner gauge steel and aluminum.
I've used a steel block with a radiused edge in a vice with a block of hardwood and a torch to make the bend but there's got to be better ways that are more consistent.
If you wouldn't mind posting photos of your equipment and/or techniques it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bart
