I’m getting ready, that’s fix’n for my southern friends, to do the first condition inspection on my Hatz Classic. I’ve provided the appropriate inspection hole sites with support rings in the wings per usual practice, but I’m wondering if I could cut a select few and use them as access points to inspect areas at other inspection sites with a borescope. Hate to cut holes if I can prevent it by using another inspection method. I realize if I need to address something I’d need to cut a hole, but using a borescope I might/could prevent the need for an access cover. Thoughts?
