C.G. old vs new S1-C plans

I don't have a copy of the original S1-C plans. The CG range listed on my short fuselage S1-C W&B is -1" to + 3" from LE of lower wing. The plans I bought from Steen as a reference, show the limit as +1" to -4" from LE of lower wing(15% to 28% MAC). My plane is an older build, Started in '68.
I haven't flown it yet, but was flying when I bought it. I am confused.
