So I said I'd start a thread when we got going on this. We are now deep into it. Starting point...
Tearing into the leading edge to figure out the damage...
Luckily other than a couple of minor scratches, the spar has no cracks or chunks missing. We even used a borescope on the wing root fittings to check for cracks there and it all looked good.
