    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I have asked a quote for a Catto 3 blades, 185 hp, 2500 rpm cruise, 2800 wot.
Nicole proposed a 74x56 to 60.
According to the experiences I read here it sounds too much. Most builders, with equivalent engines, have 72x50 to 54.
Since I shared this experience with her last week, I have no news.
Doesn’t sound very serious !

Maybe Sensenich with their 2 blades ground adjustable pitch are more professional.

Any opinions are welcome.
Thank you.
