    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

After having a mag failure after 1200 hrs and learning that they should be inspected/rebuilt every 500 hours

I realized that I need a more detailed maintenance schedule

Rather than start from scratch I thought I'd see if anybody had a maintenance schedule

Thinks I know
- Eagle Condition Condition Inspection Checklist
- Transponder every 2 years
- ELT Test & batteries annual
- Oil Change every 25 hours
- Other basic visual inspection / maintenance annually
- Unique Maintenance requirements for Whirlwind Prop
- Now know about Magneto Maintenance every 500 hours
- Verify "off position" of magneto key switch every 100 hours

I imagine there are more items I should add to my list

Thanks in advance for any recommendations
