I put the 4" API on the S1 and got compression springs from Karen at API. I have been playing with tight chains vs loose chains. Each way is touchy in a different way.
I noticed the compression springs are really stiff. They do not compress at all when I move the rudder before the wheel turns. Do they make springs that are a little weaker? All the aviation styles look the same. All my local hardware store has is huge ones.
I am thinking what I have is like running straight chains with no spring???? They are that stiff.
Anyone run tension springs on a S1?
