This is a question pertaining to my Stinson. Since it's engine related and can apply to Lycomings & Continentals, as well as my Franklin, I thought I'd put it here. Mods, feel free to move if need be.
I can use some education on EGT Probes. I've got probes on all six cylinders, but some of the clamps have broken that hold them to the exhaust.
The probes are Alcor MC1A-106-A36.
Doing a search, I don't find anything listed with that part number, at least not readily available.
Is there a suitable substitute for these probes? Or a good way to secure them.
Thanks,
