    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

so when I took apart and recovered my starduster fuse I should have replaced the pusrod, but I was in a hurry to fly and didn't.

The pushrod that I am using is rather heavy and in my opinion to big. it is about 2.5 inch diameter tube and it must weigh a good 20 pounds.

I want to replace it.

I haver a few ideas but I know there are people that know much more than me, so, suggestions?
