Engine sag

Question about engine sagging after new shock mounts are installed. I have read on here in other post expect 1/4" sag. I am setting my spinner that much above the cowl expecting this. This is a new build. Those who have experience with this in the past please post what the out come is after the first 40hr or so. Or when does the movement show up? Is this a bad decision to set the cowl in place expecting this? Sorry if this has been asked before.
