My helper pulled the fuel outlet strainer out of my fuel tank while we were taking the wings off. The advisor told me the builder had used aluminum and riveted the tank together and sealed everything with epoxy. The outlet strainer pulled out clean so it looks like I can clean the parts up and epoxy the fuel outlet back in place.

My question is what kind of epoxy is suitable for this type of repair?

I am unloading the airplane tomorrow so it will be another day before I can take photos. I still have to learn how to upload them also :)

I spent today building wing rack to hold the wings until my wife decided it was time to quit work and do family time :)

Thanks,
