im still playing with c/g and final smart"er" easier to maintain ideas for oil and battery location, and instead of building a remote oil tank slung behind rear seat, lines along fuselage ~30 ish lbs worth, i was wondering why not have the battery 28.4lbs (24v) concord rg24-15 placed in the turtle deck area, and easier to access and maintain vs oil slobber and goop from spills or oopsies all over the fabric possibilities..
Im wanting to keep the oil tank on the rt side of front fuselage sitting within the cg range and plce battery out back.
Both then ultimately not effecting cg movement.
Any wisdom on this battery location if placed in an affixed box properly affixed to the tubing behind pilots head lol..?
