I have read a number of threads from 5-7 years ago regarding the installation of either inertial switches or oil pressure switches for killing the power to oil pumps or electric boost pumps and was wondering what the current best practice is.
I am about to order two resetable inertia switches to wire into the ground circuits for the fuel pump and the oil pump,
I am considering wiring in a momentary spst switch on the throttle for the smoke, but that location is already taken by my PTT switch and I cannot find any micro switches beyond the 1 amp rating I am using for my PTT.....the 3 or 5 amp switches are considerably larger, I do have my smoke switch on the panel within my fingertip reach at full throttle
Has anyone wired these switches into the master solenoid or are they using separate inertial switches for the smoke and oil as I am planning?
Thanks,
Dan
