In my first Pitts the inverted oil pick-up was from the vacuum pump accessory pad. In my current Pitts the inverted oil pick-up is on a firewall mounted T fitting on a oil line from the air/oil separator.

Could anybody advise what is the inverted oil pick-up location for a factory built Pitts with standard certificate (no experimental)? Are both locations approved?

Thanks
