Just noticed this on the Warbird Information Exchange forum posted by Tom D. Friedman.

I have no association with the original poster but thought it would likely interest someone on the forum.

for sale : blue prints / re-prints / pics & info regarding the 1928 designed "KNIGHT TWISTER" biplane designed by VERNON PAYNE: a true beauty of an aircraft design that was conceived by VERNON PAYNE years before it's time. it looks like the daddy of the "PITTS SPECIAL" as to it's lines & aerodynamics & beauty. a little info on the knight twister verbatim from mr payne....."designed 1928, the knight twister was a pioneer in the field of small single place aircraft. although it wasn't a docile aircraft, it's sleek lines & fighter plane performance provided the inspiration for following generations of sport biplanes, & even a few modifications of the original, most notable being MARION UNRUH'S "PRETTY PRAIRIE SPECIAL""...... info being sold as a "lot". the lot comprises of the following...... qty 3 of 4 x 3/4 x 3 inch b&w collector's stamped print pics of the knight twister, qty 15 original blue print drawings & specs of the knight twister, qty 54 pages of copies of original additional blue prints & info / detail regarding construction & performance. $50.00. please email me at [email protected] or pm me via wix if interested.
