Moving out west and considering a house on a air park, benefits are obvious, what are some of the drawbacks ?

I spoke to a pilot years ago who mentioned living in a airpark was great for the first few years until the runway needed to be redone to the tune of $1M+ and everyone had to fork over a chunk of cash.

I'm guessing insurance/property taxes would be higher since you have more than one structure.

Would appreciate some advice from those with experience.
