Does anyone have any experience with Lycoming SB 411? I have an O-360-A4A with a serial number that is affected by this SB. The engine was installed on a Cherokee 180 originally and the engine did not have this SB complied with. I’m using a 3 blade composite prop with this engine. The cost of the kit is sticking in my throat. Around $12,000 USD for the magneto isolation kit at this time. I’m hoping using a different prop will negate the issue. If not an electronic ignition would be a far less expensive fix.

Any help would be appreciated.
