MAY 14 (SAT): CHILI FIESTA FLY-IN
Fly in, Drive in, with your best chili recipe and/or hors doeuvre item (optional). This annual event attracts local towns folk, and if weather permits, a large contingent of interesting flying machines. Festivities begin at 12 Noon and go until 4PM. See the story here of the 2015 Chili Fly-in. ATTENTION PILOTS: Position reporting on 122.9 is recommended. Numerous NORDOs, see & avoid is the rule! We like to use Runway 02 for arrivals if winds permit, as it permits easier egress from the runway.
