    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Well, I missed my last Starduster a lot, so when a deal came up, I grabbed it! It had a "slow & gentle" ground loop in a strong cross wind, but the damage will be easy to fix. The gear will need to be rebuilt, that's why I asked about gear length, thanks for the info Dave B. One lower wing tip needs minor repair, some minor sheet metal work on the belly and firewall, and prop strike inspection on the engine and another prop.
I have two questions for you guys. It has an O540A1D, 250 hp, inverted system with pressure carb. It has an HC-82-VK-1D prop. Does anyone know what that prop was originally used on, or what "economical" substitutes could be used?
And, I have not picked up the plane yet and have few pictures of it. Does anyone know about it or have any good pictures of it? It was N11007. This is what it looked like before the ground loop.:)
