I've designed and built a pair of float-type fuel gauges for my Skyote project. Unlike the Cub-type, the float rod is housed in a sight glass and it *should* all be sealed well enough that a little inverted flight won't result in gasoline shower. I've seen a few threads around here where people are asking about such a thing. As there haven't been any solutions, I thought I'd offer mine up for inspiration. I'm not thrilled with it personally due to parts count, and I would like a better way to keep the float from falling out than safety wire (which isn't supposed to be used to keep stuff in, I know...) but I think it's worth a try. Kinda small but visible enough.

Photos of them in Luscombe (tank nearly full) and Skyote center section (camera about where my head would be, tank empty)
Assembly photos in the PDF.
Anybody in the PNW open to flight testing for me? I'm a few years out.
