I know, odd comparison... But I'm looking for info on comparing the control forces and overall "fun to fly" factor between the two.

Have a "composite monoplane" friend that does have access to a B model Pitts occasionally. Obviously, comparing the flying characteristics between those two leaves the B model in the "truck like" category.

We all hear about how much fun a nice, light S-1C is to fly. He's considering picking one up for occasional fun flying to satisfy his biplane fix.

I've never flown a -1C or a -2B, so only have anecdotal comments. Looking for those of you here that do have time in both for some comparison notes.

Thanks!
