After 10 weeks off, I needed an "accomplishment". I've been welding bows to the fuselage with the attendant non-satisfaction. I figured an assembly project was in order.

I very carefully took a day (Saturday) to level the fuselage and align the lower wings per plans. Today (Sunday) I aligned the rear wing spar attach fitting and tac welded in place. I removed the wings and final welded. Lo and behold, the lower wings fit! This week I'll drill the rear for the attach bolts, and enlarge the front from 1/4" ot 5/16".

My son is home from college this summer so will use him to align and drill the upper wing center attach fittings in the next couple of weeks.

Since I am here, I'll also build the I-Struts in the next month or so.
