    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I joined the forum back in 2009 and wasn't sure if the Pitts was for me because I really love the yak-55. I keep coming back to the Pitts and now I've got money.

I have my Ppl but hardly any time tail wheel or acro. My plan was to buy a Pitts s1c and build a set of wolf wings and by the time I'm ready for more serious acro, I could just swap my wings on and a couple other items and bobs your uncle.

Question is, can you upgrade an s1c to sean tuckers style aircraft? It would make more sense to sell the s1c and buy an s1ss but I want the experience of building my own aircraft.

My intentions are competitive aerobatics and air shows.
