    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Looking for input on a SA100 I found for sale... 1982 build, O-290-G, 600 hours airframe, 300 hours engine. What should I know, ad what should I look for when I look at it? And what to expect flying it if I buy it? I have about 1000 hours, 500 tailwheel consisting of 300 T-Craft, 100 Kolb, and (most recently) 100 in my Fisher 404 with a smattering of other types. I'm looking to move on from my Fisher to get better climb, more speed, and basic gentleman's acro capability. Downside is it's 1000 miles away and it's winter...
