I am considering buying a skybolt project and wanted to get previous builders advice of how much labor is still needed. From what I am told the wing root covers (L and R) need made, wings need rigged, and wheel pants need painted and mounted. It does come w the original plans.

It doesn’t sound like much and I have a pretty good mechanical background so I feel comfortable w the task but wanted to see how hard it was to make the wing root covers as well as rig up the wings. I assume the plans walks you through this stuff? I also assume wing root covers cannot be purchased and need to be made.

I am aware there is probably more but this is a start and what I am told. I will be laying eyes on the project over the weekend and if I decide to progress I will get someone to do a thorough pre-buy inspection

Any advice would be great.
