    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

So here's a question about a past practice that I haven't seen in my limited contest experience: overnighting on the spot. Hotels are a big expense at contests come with a corresponding car requirement. I'm not cheap. But I spend about 120 nights a year in hotels and I really hate them. Conversely, I spend about 2 nights a year in my sleeping bag. That's a ratio I'd like to change. I have heard that in earlier years it was common for at least a few contestants to stay inside the fence overnight. Is that ever done anymore? Does anybody know how to make a travel pod for a Pitts?
