    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hey all, Here's a chance for all the builders to brag on how light they built their machines. I'm trying to get a good feel for what a real world empty weight should be for a bare bones Starduster II. Give me your #'s and engine/prop combo. Also best ideas for not adding weight and where waste can be cut out. Nothing is lighter than a hole.
As a side question, what does it mean when your painting the house and a B-17 passes over @1000'?Regards, D.L. Sumter SC
