    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Thought I would try to post some pic's of 35RL just for grins. Note I used 600x6 tires and wheels. There were three reasons for this; first I was planning on flying from a grass strip, second I won the tires at the NW EAA banquet in Seattle Back in the 70"s, third I was offered a set of Cessna wheels and brakes free. I originally flew it with the straight open windshield but later made my own canopy! Now that was fun and an adventure. Took two tries, the first one blew up and sounded like a shotgun blast, did not let it come to full temp of 350deg and set for a few minutes before putting air pressure to it, live and learn. It is not hard to do just have to follow a few procedures.Dick Logston PS having trouble with pictures may need to send later.
