    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

How many of you remember the Flying Fool? Was it designed after a full scale biplane or what? I built one in 1960 and the kit was $3.95. I pieced one together this year and probably got $200 into it including a new Fox 35. It slightly resembles an EAA Biplane. I haven't the heart to fly it though crashing them was a great excuse for building something else. Warming up here in Free Idaho and hope to dive into the SAS1 soon.
