Hey gang,
Building a new set of struts for an Acro Cubby. Being homebuilt somethings are not quite even or equal.
The strut measurements aren't equal. Have one side built, the other is 9/16" longer on the front and 5/16" on the rear. I bought the 5/8" strut clevis' that are 1 3/4" long behind the jam nut. That will put the length threaded just over twice the width of the fork. Only leaves a little before I go beyond that. Plan on some acro but would like the struts equal. Want to be safe.
I've looked for the notes in the 43-13 but couldn't find them regarding threaded length for this.
A little help?
Thanks in advance.
Mark
