OK, next question.
I am running a TBI on an 0-320. I know carb. heat for a TBI is not as important as it is for a carb'ed engine but it is still recommended by the manufacturer.
I am thinking that I could draw cowling heated air for TBI heat which saves needing an exhaust heat muff and related plumbing plus it gives me an emergency source for alternate air in case of filter blockage
Probably won't get the full 95 degree tempereature rise but . . . .
Hopefully, I can route the ram air and cowling air through the same set of "vanes" to give the TBI a straight intake shot.
So, what are the con's to this "brilliant" idea
Thank you,
