    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I am considering installing Trig radios to replace what I have in my Hatz.
Currently I have a Terra com that I can hear other transmissions on but other pilots say in am generally unreadable due to background noise. I have done all the fixes posted here with no real improvement.
I am considering installing the following: TY-91 com, TT-22 Xponder, TH-72- GPS, TA-50 Antenna
My com antenna is copper wire installed in the belly with a ground plane.
I am interested in hearing from others with ideas or experience with this sort of installation.
Thanks
