    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I've never been able to afford hull insurance before. So, I've never had to think about how much my airplane was worth. So, understanding I'm giving you little to go by, about what's the worth of a 27 year old S2E with 350TT on the airframe, a two place canopy, symetrical ailerons, 300TT on a Barret overhaul with 10:1 pistons, compression still in the high 70's, good fabric with the Soucy paint scheme, a Hartzell with the old A hub. And, it has a factory welded fuselage, tail, engine mount and landing gear.

I'm guessing (a huge guess) $50,000. Am I anywhere close to being right.

(Yes, it's low time. Family obligations kept me from flying much after Dad and I finished building it.)

Thanks
