    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I have a skybolt I bought (I didn't build it). It's an old one with short gear if that makes any difference. I have a W & B sheet that I got with the aircraft, but I am about to install a new propeller and tailwheel. Seems like a good time to weigh the plane and make a new sheet. My question is what does the "official" W&B envelope look like and what's the datum? (It seems that the firewall is the datum on the one I have, but its not 100% clear.)
Thanks in advance for the help!
Steve
