Hi all.
Another newbie question from me…
Can I ask what techniques/tools/processes everyone uses to get a really neat accurate fit of the cap strips in the built up wing ribs?
I’ve laid the upmost and lower cap strip into my jig and now looking to cut/mitre all the vertical and diagonal strips to get a really nice fit but not sure the best approach to this - anyone got any tips to share?
The trailing edge requires the upper and lower strips to come together - you can see in the photo attached my efforts in cutting these accurately to join aren’t great as I have a gap. I marked these and used a vertical sander to make the ‘cut’. Not sure if there is a better approach.
Any advice much appreciated as always.
Thanks.
Chip
