    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Sat I received a letter and sales and use tax forms from the state of Pennsylvania demanding I pay sales and use tax on my plane. Now my plane is rgistered in the state of Delaware that has no sales and use tax . When I contacted the PA dept of revenue, they said on such and such a date your plane was seen at an airport in PA and you did not pay any use tax in DE, so because you were in PA, we will take the tax, 6% of the purchase price. This is no difference than opening the canopy and there stands a guy with a gun and says gimme your money. I have 15 days to pay up or they start adding interest and penalty charges.
