So, I have had some feedback that it is time to recover the tail. My S-1s is flying great but each season needs more tape to cover where the fabic is showing/ paint is flaking off from the cockpit back.

Here are some pics of the areas. Not sure what process was used but when the wings and side panels were re-done, it was poly fiber. I think this might be old ceconite.

Re-do it over the winter? It is starting to crack along the top radius of the VS. Here are some photos from the begining of last year's annual. Probably about 10% more tape this year to cover the bare fabric.
