I need to TIG weld a minor repair to my fuselage near the landing gear area. Do I need to do anything special to safe guard the avionics? The airplane is equipped with a Garmin G3X. The ADAHRS for it is mounted in the tail.

Other than making sure the welding ground is good and as close as possible to the work area, what other precautions are recommended?

Thanks
Bill
